There are two problems with the American political fabric that prevent any real reform in health care. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. The power of the private capital over the political process. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2. The lack of political education among citizens.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Single-payer health care is &amp;quot;social democracy&amp;quot; not &amp;quot;socialism&amp;quot;.
